ILOCOS SUR ROCKS!

Kamikazee rocked Ilocos Sur last January 30. It was a big event as the province celebrated its 1st Kannawidan Festival. A crowd almost the size of Quirino Stadium came cheering and roaring as they played their favorite renditions of rock songs.

Misboys stage a standing protest in their office. This was attributed by the lack of support from their superiors. At the third day of their stand out, they had finally come into terms and agreed to support the visions of their superiors. It was historic on the next day because the official website of the Province of Ilocos Sur was finally launched.

2nd Philippine Olympic Festival

The Province of Ilocos Sur will host this annual event on March 05-11, 2007, wherein most of the games wil be held at Quirino Stadium, Vigan City. Participants will come from the Provinces of Ilocos Norte, Abra, La Union, Pangasinan, Pampanga, Nueva Ecija and Tarlac including the host. Roughly, a contingent of almost 5,000 will grace this event. MIS on the other hand wil be in-charge for the lay-outs, designs and graphics which will be needed by athletes and coaches.
